The Dolphin LLM API charges based on token volume rather than a flat monthly subscription. Input tokens cost $0.15 per million, while output tokens are priced at $0.50 per million. This structure reflects the compute intensity of generating text compared to processing your input. You can monitor your exact token usage via the dashboard, ensuring you know exactly what you are spending on your uncensored LLM chat sessions.
Prepaid Credit Bonuses
We encourage developers to top up their accounts with larger amounts to receive bonus credit. Adding $20 or more starts the process, but significant bonuses kick in at higher tiers. A $50 top-up grants a 5% bonus, while a $100 top-up provides a 10% bonus. These bonuses are added to your balance immediately, extending the life of your credits without changing the underlying per-token rates.
No Expiration Policy
Unlike many other services that wipe your balance after a few months, prepaid credit on Dolphin LLM never expires. Once you have loaded funds, they remain available for your uncensored AI model usage indefinitely. This is ideal for long-term projects or developers who prefer to buy credits in bulk and use them at their own pace without worrying about time limits or losing their investment.

Questions and answers
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. New accounts receive $0.50 in trial credit valid for 7 days, requiring only an email and password. Claim this credit with one click on your API key page. You can add funds later via crypto (USDT on TRC20, USDC on Base) when you are ready to scale your usage.
Can my balance go negative?
No. Since this is a prepaid system, you can only spend what you have loaded. If your balance hits zero, requests will stop until you add more credits. This keeps your spending predictable and prevents surprise bills.
How is a token calculated?
Tokens are the basic units of text processed by the model. Roughly, one token is about four characters for English text. The API counts every token in your prompt (input) and every token in the generated response (output) separately.
Are there any hidden fees for the uncensored AI model?
There are no hidden fees. You only pay for the tokens used. There are no monthly subscription fees, no per-request fees, and no costs for the API endpoint itself. The only costs are the input and output token rates listed above.
